Kick off

Most of the time when I'm playing career mode, one of the teams, including my own(when I'm controlling one player) the person who is first passed to at kick off for no reason just clears the ball.  It's becoming extremely annoying especially when it's my team doing it.  This has been happening for a week now, please fix this.  The player passed to at kick off just clears the ball forward into the opposing side, sometimes all the way to conceding a goal kick, sometimes it goes off to the side for a throw in, sometimes the opposing side (or my own team) get to the ball before it goes out.
