RTTF Champions Cup not working

I wasn't able to play the Champions Cup despite reaching the 7 wins needed to qualify for it. After contacting EA several times, they kept saying that it would be resolved if I waited 24 hours and that it would be fixed "soon." Even after having them say that, nothing was fixed and now the event has ended. I was told I was entitled to proper compensation from this. They gave me reference/case codes to back that up.
