Evolution issue

I completed the intro to repeatable evolution on a player in FC27 UT. After i completed, i accidentally submitted that player into the new SBC system by mistake.

I then bought another version of the same card to start the evo again, he appears as eligible however when i click to start i get the error message "you already have an evolution version of this player"

I checked i no longer had the original card, the evolution is not in the my evo category, i restarted ultimate team. This is happening on console.

I hope this can be resolved and can restart the evolution as i use the player all year.
