Game-breaking Black Screen Glitch – Happened Twice in a Row

Platform: PlayStation 5
Game: EA SPORTS FC 27
Issue: Black Screen / Invisible Pitch Glitch

I have experienced a very strange and frustrating black screen glitch, and it has now happened twice in a row.

During the match, the entire pitch and all players become completely invisible, leaving only parts of the HUD visible, such as the scoreboard, player indicators and match information.

The strange thing is that the game itself is still running:

  • I can still move my players.
  • The match continues normally in the background.
  • I can still control the gameplay, but I cannot see anything.
  • The screen remains almost completely black.

This makes the match impossible to play because I have no visual information about what is happening.

I have attached a screenshot showing exactly what the glitch looks like.

This is extremely frustrating, especially when playing competitive matches. Having this happen twice in consecutive games makes me concerned that this is a recurring bug.

Could EA please investigate this issue and fix it in an upcoming update?

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

    Mine is thrice in a row. Just to complete the rush mode for fut objectives.

    Having issues with the glitches, what's the point of waiting for the whole entire game of not doing anything. Yes you are able to control the players, but from the examples shown, are we still going to continue the whole entire match? By having this promt as well.

    It use to happen once a day. 
    I rebooted my PS5. Made sure I had the latest updates. It keeps happening.

    Now I just had a streak of 3 Rush games in row from which I had to bail out. I can only imagine how the other 7 players were pissed. I ended up shutting off the whole console in disgust
