Community ManagerI have played many games this year and have yet to experience this. I played 4 games last night with no issues. This is why video is so crucial. There are different conditions that may be causing this to happen. Not everyone is meeting those exact conditions. If you get a video, let me know.

My club has 300 games not including playoffs and every single person in the club (we are 7 total) on PS5 have gotten the bug consistently since launch, we sometimes see it every game or two, all of us can get it, and also for the past 3 years.- EA_Aljo
That's fine if you don't believe me. I really have no reason at all to make that up. I'm not saying nobody is experiencing this. It's just not something all of us are. If you get a video, let me know and I'll get it reported.
There also has been an issue with readying up for some users where their headset is being recognized as a controller. To avoid this, turn off your headset and see if you can ready up. You can turn it back on after that.
I read the other bug and that doesn't fix anything, the one where there's videos you can use.
It's 3 years now guys c'mon. If 100% of my clubmates and all streamers that I've asked have the issue, and there's other threads about this issue, is it really that hard to attempt to dig into and resolve???
Just find and set the existing tickets that people have reported over the years of this bug to CRITICAL and get it over with.
You said "many games", how many, roughly? 100s? With how many people? Which game mode in World of Chel? There's no chance that you've played this regularly as you'd have run into this by now, at some point, over the last 2-3 years. As the other poster said, this has been happening for years and it literally makes you hesitant to even change your loadout once you're in your lobby.
I'd say there's roughly a 33% chance this will happen when changing your loadout in the pregame lobby. The video wouldn't show anything. When this issue happens, you're essentially soft locked without the ability to back out of the little UI pop-up that includes "Change Loadout". You can't back up to the screen where you can ready-up. You're forced to leave the lobby, and sometimes you can't even do that.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to World Of Chel pregame lobby.
2. Select position.
3. Select Change Loadout.
4. Change something in your loadout.
5. Save Loadout.
6. Change loadout to something else altogether.
7. Press Circle to back out back to the lobby (you'll notice the new loadout has been selected now).
8. Press Circle again so you can Ready Up.
Results: Sometimes/Often, user cannot return to the original state of the pregame lobby where they can ready up. Sometimes/Often, they are stuck with the "Change Loadout" pop-up and nothing works, forcing the user to back out of the lobby as they are locked in this spot.
Note: Steps 3-6 are not necessarily the cause of the issue, this is just the type of stuff you'd naturally do when selecting Change Loadout, and the type of stuff you'd do to naturally stumble into this bug and want to jump out a window.- EA_Aljo
I play on Xbox so possibly, this is more likely on PS. I also never change my loadout in the lobby. This is what I mean about needing video. We're not all performing exactly the same steps so we're not all experiencing this.
We are aware of an issue where you can get stuck editing your loadout. That is being investigated. If this is regularly happening to you with the steps you mentioned above, send me a private message with your PSN ID so I can pass it on as part of this investigation.
One more thing just to clarify: technically you're not "editing your loadout", however, in the lobby, that's what it will say you're doing next to your name.
