The game itself
Players movement are not human like, they look like this game was made between 2010-2013. its ps5. It should look as realistic as FIFA/FC. though nhl isn’t as worldwide popular like FIFA/FC, EA Sports North America needs to step up their game or stop making NHL. This game, it’s glitchy… players disappear through the ice, boards, ice disappears through the cutscenes /tv time out, pivoting from forwards to back skating with the puck is leggy, you bump into the goalie and end up getting 2-4 interference penalties all at once because the players seem to glitch and have minor seizures and hit the goalie multiple times and much more BS like that. Your AI players can be absolutely brutal. Deking on or just before the blue line causing so many offsides.(get Joe Bowen in there) Commentators are boring, annoying. this is actually a very disappointing franchise now. Separate the attention from online and get more into the offline gaming. Hell, sell them separately, with the option of purchasing both online/offline as one. Take a page out of FIFA/FC and apply some of those graphics and tech, bring it into NHL. it just doesn’t cut it anymore. Your design team needs to go and play hockey/ watch it more and study the movements and flow of the game very Deep. Get it right or drop NHL.
Visual Bug
since the launch of the game i've had a weird visual bug. sometimes when i load into games, online or offline, the players, fans, ice, and arena overall have a weird white, glossy look to them. its kinda weird looking and its super hard to play with this bug. im wondering if it's to do with the fact that i play on a xbox series s not series x. but alas, im not sure.
Pack glitches
I bought a protect the net choice pack from the hockey ultimate team store and when it opened the game crashed on me! I reset the game and went back in and tried to open the pack again from my unopened packs an the game froze again! I waited almost 24 hours and tried again an the same result! I brought to EA's attention still not working as of this post! Was wondering if anyone else is having the problem as I am with certain packs from the store?
Latest Update Breaking Buttons FM - XB1X
I have gone through all of the troubleshooting steps to reduce lag and rule out any other explanation; and, I have games that require more processing power that are operating just fine. I play on Xbox One X. There are several issues this latest Gameplay Update has caused in Franchise Mode (Note: none of these issues were present before the update): -Gameplay is glitchy (players are choppily skating around) -Buttons for Scouting are taking an extra second to load the "A" option (see attached video) -Menus are taking an extra to load throughout the game -Simulating a single game at a time does simulate the game, but when you return to the main Franchise Mode portal, the game [that you just simulated] can be re-simulated and you end up with an extra game played (see attached picture) Anyone know how to revert to the previous gameplay update? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the issue persists.
Can't ready up in the CHEL lobby
I noticed that once again in the new patch changelog that the lobby READY UP bug still isn't fixed. It happens in two ways that we can see: If your whole team readys up before you, sometimes you're just screwed and have to leave the lobby. If you go to edit a loadout and then come back. You all know how it happens, you can reproduce it instantly just playing the game. I'm not recording a video or giving more information because every single person who plays CHEL has seen this bug many many times. It's been there for years. Please fix it for god sakes.
EASHL 6's Unplayable
Everyday I try to play World of CHEL with my friends, 3's usually works fine (not always tho), but when I try playing 6's, it takes me hours just to be able to join a game do to "Game Configuration Failure". Every time the pre-game timer hits 1 I get this error, or I will start to load into the game and my game will crash. I am very tempted to stop trying to play and just get a refund because this is not worth my time anymore. I have officially given up on EA because they can make other sports games just fine but cannot seem to make one decent NHL game.
