Franchise Free Agency Freezing

Come to the end of my first year in a franchise and I simply cannot get through free agency. I offer contracts and them simulate to next day and it just freezes. Left the game to ‘simulate’ for 30 mins and still nothing. I’ve tried restarting the game, deleting the game and re-installing and clearing my Xbox cache. All failed and same outcome of freezing when simulating in free agency. Must have offered the same contracts like 15 times now. It’s making the game actually unplayable, anybody else got a fix for this?
