Hut SB starting faceoff restarts game

wanted to warm up with some Squad battles went to drop the puck and my game crashed out to the main xbox menu. i tried restarting my console. saw on a different post on the forum to try changing my line up and then starting a new game, didnt work. i tried a Hut exhibition game because i already took 3 loss's to my W-L. same issue. i havent really looked to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. i had already played with no problems after the patch update.
