I can’t use Titans Henrik Zetterberg

I recently completed a HUT Moments challenge and received the Titans Henrik Zetterberg card. I added him to my team, but the new synergies aren’t activating. Additionally, when I start a game, the player is automatically removed from the lineup and replaced by another player. Is this a bug, or is there another reason why I can’t play with this player?
