Icon Passing Icons Not Showing

when pressing and holding the passing trigger, sometimes the icons for icon passing do not show up, and when you release the pass trigger, it passes like normal, but all without the icons ever showing up. This has been happening since last year, and it’s not just me, it happens to all of my club members.
