Game:
I was playing in Be A Pro Mode and got my first hat trick at home arena and as the hat celebration is wrapping I start to get a few sound issues and then the screen went black and crashed back the XBOX main screen completely out of the game. I went back in and tried again and repeated the hat trick and same thing. I was able to recreate it 4 times. The last time I even tried deleting the saved game and starting over and it still happens. In other words it's repeatable.

Turning off commentary doesn't work, tried that. Got a hat-trick the scene was playing out and then it crashes still. I did not try and skip the cutscene either.

I haven't had commentary on in years. Just a personal preference. Regardless, it's just a potential workaround until this is addressed.

Happened on my first hat trick. Now if I even score 2 goals it crashes every time.... Unplayable! On ps5
Twice in a row, definitely a problem immediately after hats fall.
Why on earth would we want to play like that? Like seriously. Why is that even a suggestion at this point?
New crash tonight. Third ASSIST in a game caused it to crash. This is ridiculous.

I don't have an ETA on this. It's a more critical issue so I think it's going to be sooner than later. I just can't give a date on that.
Can we all get at least a time estimate on when you think the update to fix this will roll around in a patch? I'm running out of room on my PS5 and am on the verge of uninstalling NHL 25 due to the unplayability of the only mode I like to play.
