What is the problem
- We still can't use numbers in team name, when we create teams in NHL 25. If try use numbers in the team name, to the screen come to text " ERROR, You have entered an invalid character, please try again". We can use numbers in team nickname and abbreviation, but still can't use numbers in team name. I think it is bug , I'm not be totally sure about that, but it seems that way.
How you find this bug
- Go to the team creation and try use numbers in team name, nickname and abbreviation, you notice, that we can't use numbers in the team name, but we can use numbers in the nickname and abbreviation.
What should be done
- This problem has existed since NHL 18 and EA Sports has not make nothing to fix it. I.e. NHL 17 is last NHL video game, where we have been able to use number also in the team name. I wanted see, that EA Sports finally fix this bug. I've tell about this bug many years.
- This screenshot is from NHL 24, but this same problem is still in NHL 25. I would've added screenshot from NHL 25, but some reason I can't change language version in NHL 25.
