This is a spin off of a ticket that is now ignored because for some reason it was labeled "Not A Bug".
Other Ticket:
Is Beat Choy's uppercut not dealing Secondary Damage intended? | EA Forums - 13613725
What this ticket says is correct. Beat Choy does NOT properly do Secondary Damage when using the uppercut. The only time secondary damage is applied is when it does it's mega punch.
Beat Choy does 388 Damage and 776 Secondary Damage.
The best way to confirm this bug is against any variant regular zombie (Hiker Basic Zombie is the earliest, at Adventure Level 11). These variant Basic Zombies have 599 HP at level 1, meaning Beat Choy SHOULD always one shot them. However, that is not the case.
What we see instead is one of two situations:
1. Beat Choy does his powered up attack - Hiker Basic Zombie gets one shot.
2. Beat Choy does his uppercut attack - Hiker Basic Zombie survives for two shots.
This means one of two things:
1. The Uppercut is bugged, since it does only 388 Damage instead of 776 Damage. This would make sense, as Beat Choy SHOULD follow the same pattern Bonk Choy does, which is secondary damage applied via an uppercut when it would take the rest of the enemies HP.
2. The Uppercut is INTENTIONALLY not doing secondary damage, and instead only the power up attack does secondary damage. This would mean this ticket is NOT a bug report, rather a complaint about inconsistency, since as mentioned above, Beat Choy should follow Bonk Choys same secondary damage. This also doesn't make sense since Beat Choy has a special uppercut animation when the zombie is below the secondary damage value, but does the same amount of damage.
I'm leaning towards this being a bug, so I request you re-review the bug report.
