HELP!
I was in live chat for a entire day nearly they are abso0lutely no help, I contacted microsoft also just because one of the first unhelpful agents redirected me to them, pure laziness, but anyways they stated it was a syncing issues, and its completely on ea obviously. help us get our accounts back!!! or would like to have the items i earned and paid for on new character

For 355b9781204fdf02, because the game is cross-platform and has cross-progression, your skate profile/progress is tied to your EA Account, not the gamertag the account is linked to. So your progress and purchases should also be intact, just on a different EA Account, the one you originally started your progress on. I'd recommend getting in touch with EA Help so they can assist you with locating the original account.

When you logged in, were you asked to link an EA account or anything?
Would you be able to provide the name of your old gamertag, and what it was changed to?- 355b9781204fdf022 days agoSeasoned Spectator
When I first launched skate., my EA account was automatically created and authenticated through Xbox Live using my email address via the EA on console sign up flow. At that time, there were no conflicts, no prompts to choose an existing EA account, and gameplay and progression were functioning normally.
After later changing my Xbox gamertag, skate. force logged me out of EA services on Xbox. Unlike other platforms and publishers (Epic Games, Activision, etc.), there was no option to re authenticate using an existing EA account via email or username and password within the game client.
Instead, the system treated my updated Xbox gamertag as a new identity and forced me into an EA account creation flow. When entering the email address originally used for skate., the system reported that the email was already linked to another EA account. That account was an old, inactive EA profile dating back to approximately 2008–2015, which had previously been unlinked with EA support and did not interfere with the original skate. account creation.
Following additional unlinking attempts, none of the surfaced EA accounts correspond to my original skate. account, progression, or entitlements, many many purchases. This suggests the original account still exists in the backend but is no longer reachable due to an identity mismatch between:Xbox Live XUID / gamertag
EA account ID
Email association
took this just incase .. sadly just incase happened
From a technical standpoint, it appears the gamertag change triggered a failure in the account re association process, causing the system to invalidate or orphan the original EA account rather than allowing re authentication. As a result, the account is effectively lost despite valid ownership, email access, and prior successful linkage.
I am requesting escalation to an account or identity resolution team to manually locate the original EA account tied to my initial skate. session and restore the correct linkage to my current Xbox gamertag.
I sadly had to figure all of this out myself, through many hours and days of research here and reddit. And playing on an entirely new account having to buy more things.

No as I don’t have any other ea accounts. My name is also the exact same as it once once was when I had all my items/progress
