Connection Lost | Error code: 3982909855
I started encountering this error for the first time today before the weekly reset for the event. I can't find any additional information on this specific error except a thread from playtest era in search results that I can't access. It happens after between 2 and 10 minutes of playtime consistently, usually after closing a menu but sometimes while playing, the game screen goes black for a minute and then this error appears. So far I have tried verifying game files in Steam, full uninstall/reinstall along with deleting the %localappdata%\Skate folder, repairing Javelin anticheat through the EA/AC folder installer, launching the game through EA instead of Steam, and updating windows. Since the new Update about a week ago, trophies don't work anymore. Not at all. For many Players. If you get the requirements (11000 rip Score for example) you still don't get your trophy. Please fix that! For many players trophies are a big motivation and reward to play the game and with the Platinum so grindy in "skate." it would feel really bad not to get it in the end...Neighbourhood Progress reset & stuck at 0 / 0
Description of the issue: Right after the Season 3 maintenance was over and I hopped in to check things out, all of my neighbourhood levels and progress got reset/bugged out. They are simply stuck at 0 / 0 and will not update or progress at all. Can't buy any product boxes either, even if it shows that I already have multiple boxes unlocked in said neighbourhood. It's been like this two weeks. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: Start the game as usual Look at the 0 / 0 on your current neighbourhood and wonder if all your progress gone Write bug report and hope for the best. I've seen a handful of other people post on reddit and the discord with the same issue. Still no acknowledgement as a known bug, which worries me a ton. Platform: PC (Steam) Troubleshooting steps already performed: Validated files through Steam. Reinstalled game completely. Hello, I have this weird texture when i enter the shop, and it goes everywhere in my game right after. I checked my GPU, everything's fine. Same for my monitor. I wonder if it's not a Skate. disfunctional thing. Can someone give me advice ? The texture of the "highlight" (blue / yellow) seems to have been bugged since season 3; there are squares. I have no idea if it's intentional or not, but you can clearly see artifacts and visual problems throughout, in addition to the squares.16Views0likes0CommentsTasks Issue and Challenges
Ever since Season 3 came out, the tasks have been bugged. What I mean by this is, usually, you can just play the game and start completing tasks without even knowing what the tasks are. But now, tasks are not counting unless you open the tasks menu and then do the tasks. With this, come now to this St. Pattys event. I have now been gypped out of my event coins. Here is what happened. I loaded up the game like always, teleported to the new community parks and did every single Event Challenge. After I completed them, I opened the tasks menu, went to the event section and literally nothing. So then after I closed the tasks menu, I redid a event challenge to see if it would count, you know for the tasks that says to complete challenge goals. After I finished the challenge again, I went back and it still didn't count. So apparently unless you open tasks menu first beforehand, your not getting the coins for that task. When I open the menu to change my skater or look at some clothing from the store or skate pass, the UI keeps disappearing and flashing. It stops when I exit the menu but then glitches again.
