Infinite Loading/Black Screen After Returning to Marker or Completing Challenges
Platform: PC, PS5 (platform-independent) Description: Since Season 3, returning to the session marker (D-Pad up) occasionally causes the game to freeze on either the loading screen or a completely black screen. This happens approximately 1–2 times per hour. Same thing when completing challenges. The screen does not resolve, and the only way to recover is to force close the game (Alt + F4 on PC). Additional Details: The game continues running in the background. You can hear other players, and matches (e.g., OTL) continue without your participation. Occurs on both PC and PS5. Attached: video recording showing the issue. Steps to Reproduce: Play the game normally. Return to the session marker using D-Pad up or finish a challenge. Occasionally, the loading screen will freeze or go black. Frequency: 1–2 times per hour Impact: Prevents gameplay and requires forced shutdown.
Translation error: Weekly tasks in Japanese (Season 3, Week 10)
I found mistranslated title in the weekly task. In English : "Score 500pts near other Skaters (0 / 15)" In Japanese : "他のプレイヤーとセッションしよう！(0 / 15)" it means "Session with other players! (0 / 15)". If I translate it : "他のスケーターの近くで500ptsのスコアを決める (0 / 15)"Opening social tab causes permanent graphical bug
If I open the social tab it causes permanent graphical errors in the rest of the game. While looking at the map there will be dots all over the place, sometimes also a box in the middle showing my skaters midsection. Makes using the map almost impossible. Also shows up when returning to a spot by pressing up on the d-pad. changing graphics settings returns it to normal.
Stuck on black screen upon launching game
This has been an issue since early beta access days…It seemed fixed for a bit, but lately it’s happening again. When I launch Skate from Steam, it gets stuck on an all black screen and it completely freezes my PC. I have to hard reset my PC just to get it working again. The “fix” is to open another application, then windows tab over when Skate is done launching. Please fix this, as this could be affecting many people’s PCs. It’s almost as if y’all don’t even read or check these forums or listen to any feedback whatsoever, it’s so baffling.
Neighbourhood Progress reset & stuck at 0 / 0
Description of the issue: Right after the Season 3 maintenance was over and I hopped in to check things out, all of my neighbourhood levels and progress got reset/bugged out. They are simply stuck at 0 / 0 and will not update or progress at all. Can't buy any product boxes either, even if it shows that I already have multiple boxes unlocked in said neighbourhood. It's been like this two weeks. Steps to trigger/reproduce the issue: Start the game as usual Look at the 0 / 0 on your current neighbourhood and wonder if all your progress gone Write bug report and hope for the best. I've seen a handful of other people post on reddit and the discord with the same issue. Still no acknowledgement as a known bug, which worries me a ton. Platform: PC (Steam) Troubleshooting steps already performed: Validated files through Steam. Reinstalled game completely. Attempted to run a few missions both old and new in every neighbourhood hoping it would fix things. No luck.Missed translation : Monthly task in Japanese
I found mistranslated title in the monthly task. In English : "Grind or Manual Distance (0 / 5000)" In Japanese : "ファストトラベル・ポイントを利用する(0 / 5000)" it means "Use Fast Travel Points (0 / 5000)". Other tasks with the same title are also displayed side by side.Can’t export MP4 videos from replay editor. (PC)
Last week the game would crash when attempting to export MP4s, this week I get the 321 countdown which transitions directly into the pop up saying the video was saved to my local disk (after the count down the game never plays the clip during the export procedure) despite there being NO video saved in my local disk. MP4 files were exporting fine up until the 7 ply event update hit the game. webm files work normally, but they export at a very low resolution, as well as at about 75-80% speed. have reset graphics drivers, repaired game files, deleted/reinstalled game, and updated motherboard bios with NO luck. Have also tried exporting on an ROG Ally X but have the same issue. exporting clips is the main thing bringing me back to this game, please fix this asap.
weekly task not counting progress
the weekly task KICKFLIP to BLUNTSLIDE to 360°POP-SHUVIT I’m trying to get this challenge done and I’m doing it right but it’s not counting i’ve also tried turning my body 360° on the pop shuvit it and it still doesn’t work and try it with (BS/BS - FS/FS - BS/FS - FS/BS) nothing working i hope this get fix
