im doing all the inputs but hes grabbing the middle of the board, its only hit the trick 2 times out of 30. in air hold up on right stick and L2 X because im goofy its broken i have no control overr where he grabs the board im just being ripped off when im doing all the inputs in the right order
Benihana's input is right stick up, then L2 + square (instead of X like you mentioned).
Benihana requires you to grab the board by the tail first, which is achieved by holding the right stick up and holding it before you press L2.

If you trick at the top of the ramp, make sure to let go of the right stick and then push it up again before pressing your grab buttons. I get the benihana every time when I do that.
