Camera spins uncontrollably

I downloaded skate. about 2 months ago and tried to play it, but as soon as I launched into the tutorial and the dialogue was finished, my camera spun around and my character started doing parcour-like rolls on the ground. 

After reinstalling and repairing the game over 3 times, it still didn't work. I tried going into the settings where the selected items started cycling without me pressing anything. 

I figured it's my controller, so I got a new one; still wasn't working. At this point I've tried everything.

I hope someone can help me with this issue.
