cant run "skate." because of program I don't have

i get the error discsoftltd (daemon tools) when i try to run "skate." I have never installed the daemon tools  program before i have nothing related to it running in the background i have checked device manager there is nothing related i actually installed the program to uninstall it and it changed nothing please help
