I had the same issue, don't know if its only my controller (works fine on every other game tho), I had to push my R2 button down real hard, like almost feeling bad for the button hard and it worked
I just found out the answer. I posted it. You have to go into the PS5 settings and switch the assigned button layout from L2 to R2 and then switch it back again.
HOW DOES THIS WORKED HELLO? I was trying like half an hour to fix it somehow and then i saw this messege i thougt it was a funny joke but it worked..... how?
