Since the latest patch I'm able to progress past the Trasher mission! Though I did manage to get soft locked. I was able to reset the game and replay the mission successfully afterwards.

It is possible I was skating/bailing off the ramp and resetting while the intro dialogue was happening and in between that and the first attempt. Pressing A or holding Y to "Skip All" would play the sounds and visually fill up but nothing would happen, music kept playing and Slappy's dialogue was up the entire time.

Maybe this has happened within other missions?

Side Note: After pressing alt+f4 to close skate it continues to run in the background? I needed to press exit/stop within steam.
