Character stuck under the map/world
My little sister has not been able to play Skate for three full days now due to her character seeming to be clipped under the map? Everytime she reboots the game she has the same issue, she’s not able to move her character or the cursor on her map. She can click and scroll around the shop, skate pass, and trickapedia screen but that’s it. The “unstuck” button does not fix this issue, deleting and redownloading the app does not work either. She turns the game on and is immediately stuck under the world. I’m so lost on how to help her . This is currently her favorite game and she has no idea what to do to fix it. Environmental sounds are noisy even when set to 0
The most recent patch brought back environmental sounds even when ambience sound is set to 0. It looks as if you're in a walmart/departmental store with cashier sounds and people talking etc. Pretty annoying because I'm trying to film a montage with ZERO background noise. Other bugs I've noticed and probably mentioned here by others (skinny jeans clipping and board clipping through the foot with certain tricks).Fakie grinds often mislabeled in score ticker
Fakie grinds are extremely pooly detected by the score ticker. Nose and tail slides and blunts are pretty accurate, but grinds get it wrong almost every time, especially when rotation is involved. Doing a 180 into a nose grind could be called a "180 to fakie nose grind" or "180 to switch 5-0" but the game insists on calling it a "180 to fakie 5-0" most of the time which is the least accurate. Even when no rotation is involved, it will still often call a fakie 5-0 a "fakie nose grind".
Can not claim reward for final SVLOC Tier - Crew Bounties
Completed all the requirements and still can not claim the Tier 10 deck reward, game is reporting 5/6 tasks done, but I did complete everything. This is so frustrating, after looking for people to co-op so I could get all the 225 challenge goals needed I'm rewarded with this bug. I tried everything I could think of, changed servers, relaunched the game, deleted the game's cache folder but nothing fixed it.‘This Must Be The Place’ Progression bug
I am stuck on ‘This Must Be The Place’ because of a bug that when I stand in the highlighted objective area, the game does not respond and nothing happens and I am stuck on step 7/8 “reach Izzy’s spot and enjoy the view”. It constantly spawns me on the red crane part of the m-corp tower climb. I have tried everything such as deleting and reinstalling, restarting console and even switching console from Xbox to PlayStation. I cannot progress the main missions because of this.
A mirage of bugs: I'm about to go kookoo
Hello skate. Some of these bugs have existed forever and me having faith in the devs and leaving it be, I thought they would would be addressed by now I have played this game from the very beginning and have watched everything unfold season by season. I didn't think I would have to come here but here I am and I want the best for the community of skate. so I am going to address every bug I have encountered respectfully. ♥️ PS5 PLAYER BUG 1: This is a new bug everytime I connect my headset or charger the game crashes so they have to be plugged in all the time before I launch skate. BUG 2: Changing to another character causes crashes as well not all the time but I have had it happen consecutive times. BUG 3: Replay editor crashes when I'm not host of the party or joining on someone and using replay in a party will crash when I export or half way through an edit. BUG 4: Starting missions sometimes we get a black screen right off the bat and have to wait 5 minutes to actually start the mission usually we just reset the game and hope it works on the reset but it's not always guaranteed it can happen over and over, it tends to be worse when doing them co-op. BUG 5: Spot battles cause black screens forcing a restart on the game or waiting 5+ minutes to load back from the black screen, sometimes it's not a black screen and we are just stuck looking at our character we can't move or do anything. BUG 6: Market mile crew bounties Tier 4 OTL is not registering a single completion for challenges I have repeated the OTL to full completion over 20 times now and I give up on that part lol. BUG 7: Crew bounty missions are appearing invisible or whited out usually you can see 3 and the other 3 are whited out the only way to fix it for us is to go to grom or s.u.m.r camp and then return to san van. BUG 8: Prop placement I have to place so much props before I get one single prop to register, yesterday I placed over 100 invisible props before it finally gave me a physical prop to place on the ground and then I had to go through the same process for the other 4 props I am not exaggerating I was live on yt when it played up at it's worst on me I was gonna lose my marbles. BUG 9: grinding sometimes we randomly just get sent a good 20 meters off while casually grinding ruining some of the steeziest lines. BUG 10: Wallies coming into objects from the side send me up a good 5 meters vertically for no reason I play no assist 0 pop as well so it should not be possible I guess, and doing Wallies straight ahead on an object cuts all of my speed off consistently forcing me to push even when I'm coming in full speed. BUG 11: Inward heel flips like to fling left a lot I get it's the motion of the trick but it literally can fling off left well off what I'm trying to hit and that is with no left stick input just the pure flick of the trick with the right stick I do not have stick drift either. BUG 12: The wooden structures on community parks still play up doing a flip trick on it flat occasionally he just falls off, flipping up onto wooden structures the wheels sink into the surface of the wooden structures and we just bail or cuts all of the speed making the board stop instantly. BUG 13: Lean offs for board slides and lip slides bounce off instead of exiting smooth. BUG 14: Joining parties sometimes changes everyone's name in the party now, it will change to someone else's name in the lobby or their name will be wwwwwwwwwwww. BUG 15: Doing impossible to grab sometimes dark catches instead of grabbing happens more frequently when pre-winding. BUG 16: Bike racks close to rails, when going to grind a rail it will favor the bike rack over the rail so instead of hitting the grind he will try transferring sideways onto the bike rack??? Specifically the one close to the semi-pro mission Tall order in market mile but there are more. That is all the bugs I and the majority face at the moment but I do have specific request I think us real skaters would love, hear me out please. Spot battles/Skate jams: I believe whoever throws down one of these everyone who joins should receive the hosts gameplay settings for that making it equally fair for everyone and then when it is finished return our settings back to normal. Block parties: should be set to 0 assistance for everything as people abuse exploits to win making this also fair gameplay as well. This is a big ask ea but can we please have 10 props a lot of us skate solo and just want to make a cool lil spot like a fun box without having to have someone to rely on because when we do and they have to go half of the design is gone giving us minimal to work with. And the hardest tool in the shed t shirt my lil brother keeps saying look it's a **bleep** are we able to change it please he plays skate as well and not gonna lie it's inappropriate especially the size of it. Can’t quit challenges
Random challenges won’t allow you to quit. Pressing the menu button (Xbox one s) does nothing and you can’t get out of the challenge without completing it. Otherwise you have to restart the game, which doesn’t save the progress on that challenge either. Very frustrating especially after you spend a lot of time trying to at least kill it and collect the tix. Also, still lots of lag in-game with no apparent pattern.
