Slow-Motion MEGA THREAD
I'm getting around 60-80 fps in the game, but eveything looks and feels in slow motion especially my charachter. Game is stuck in 30 fps with low graphics, in that setting I don’t feel no heaviness. When I turn up the graphics to high, the fps also gets higher but the game becomes heavy and feels literally like in slow motion. This issue gets fixed most of the time when I enter challenges but after players spawn again issue occurs. _____________ Updated the title to make this a Mega Thread. Set status to investigating. Curently stuck on a soft-locked mission. It's a Main Mission and cannot progress further without it being fixed! Tried unlinking account and re- linking (Electronic Arts) account . Did not work. Tried uninstalling and re- installing game. It did not work neither. Tried deleting the saved data , did not work. Curently there is no solution to this SoftLock bug and it's a bummer since I was looking forward to the EA Skate game. Name of the mission is titled "Ripping for rewards" It's marked as completed but stuck on step 1 of 5. I made a second account (testing purposes only and was a tedious process just to make a second account / Born2shred6 ) worked fine on that account but i wanted to progress further on my main account! Daily and weekly task not counting progress AGAIN
Yesterday, my daily tasks weren't working, and they're still not working today. It's been two days in a row, and I can see that the bug is going to stay and mess up all my daily and weekly tasks from now on. I'm on PC/Steam and I've read more people having the same problem. I think they should at least compensate the players who are experiencing these bugs by giving them a good amount of pass tickets (or whatever is called this sh*t). Having a purchased pass and not even being able to complete it, thank you EA -.-
Softlock MEGA THREAD
we've seen a lot of reports on getting softlocked in various points - the Isle of Grom Tutorial, various Missions and/or Challenges. the Full Circle team are working to indentify the cause of the issues and get a fix out as soon as possible, but we need some info. please reply to this thread if you're softlocked (can't complete a Mission, Challenge, or the tutorial) with the following info: Platform What MIssion/Challenge? If Mission, what step in the Mission? Username you're playing with (Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA ID - no emails. Even this page is buggy and got to many mistakes wtf ? Ok so the game needs to go back to development. The bugs in graphics are many and awful, we get game judder even when there’s nobody in the lobby makes it unplayable. the sound cuts out either just ground sound or all board related noises just go. in the menus it gets stuck you can’t see the map properly it’s not named and labeld well at all. the loot screens keep repeating after ever box you open you see what you got and then see it all again and if your lucky the game will still be working. that stupid ai gets stuck the main missions and tutorial get stuck and won’t progress. the controls never feel the same so there’s no learning curve it’s either as easy as Tony hawk or impossible because of all the bugs. Don’t give me no **bleep** about early access you screwed the pooch when you opened the store and started season 1. It’s out and it shouldn’t be it’s no where near ready. Technically it’s a giant **bleep** and there is so much more wrong with the fundamentals and gamplay comunity Parks are awful unskatable mostly it’s all out of proportion no actual sense to anything gaps are to big on some runoff to short ramps n rails where you can’t skate them or they get in the way ruins challenges ruins gamplay most of the world is sterile and unskateable in all honesty You need skaters and you need to listen to them. The layouts are awful the community parks are unusable on bord speed and turning need to be adjustable by players as right now they’re either to slow and unresponsive can’t make simple gaps or it’s lightning fast and puts you into a wall. camera while playing on or off board is clunky and changing the settings just makes the extremes worse. This game will die a death before it’s 12 months old because it won’t keep the fortnight **bleep** your targeting amused enough nothing ever does and skaters will just go play session. I honestly didn’t care about the dumb cartoon world and cartoon characters I love the addition of the free running and climbing although it should be expanded. Even the hud is bugged mega ramps you can’t land on even with the most Arcady settings This isn’t gaming culture and it’s not skate culture it’s money making let’s just use AI culture and it’s sad and frustrating. Im going to stop now because I keep adding to it n I’ll be here forever. if you give a **bleep** and want details and specifics on what needs changing and why then contact me I’m happy to sit and go over it all with someone. if not please don’t make another skate game you are just putting people off the sport the community and the potential for a good skate game to be made in the future.MEGA THREAD - Getting Charged SVB for Rip Chip or Tix Items
we're looking into 2 store issues right now: In the in-game store, some players are purchasing Product Boxes with Rip Chip and are being charged SVB for unwanted items in the background. This is not expected behavior, a fix is coming tomorrow. In the skate.Pass, some players are unlocking free or paid track items with Tix and are being charged SVB for unwanted items in the background. This is not expected behavior. We don't have a fix yet but we are working on it. Our teams are investigating both situations right now to isolate affected players and help them on a case by case basis. IF you have been impacted, please provide the following information: username platform what did you purchase (via Tix or Rip Chips) and were charged SVB? how much SVB were you charged? what was the unwanted item you unwillingly purchased in the background? when (roughly) did this happen? (date) any screenshot of video of the purchase flow when it occurred? if you've already made a separate post, please still reply here with the above information so we can get it all together and get over to the team.
RIP score still broken
Whenever rewards are earned or a shop item is purchased, it pulls up another screen for the rip score showing the exact same reward. Along with a broken score number (mine currently showing 88,000/7600, when my true score is 3400/3800) I’ve seen multiple reports for this over the last 20-30 days, and it seems the update on the 23rd this month did nothing to fix it. It’s getting really annoying to the point where I almost avoid the shop or buying anything entirely
Skate-O-Ween-Tasks Event 2 not tracking completion properly
I completed all Skate-O-Ween Event 2 Tasks. All of them are individually marked as expected but the Event only counts 5/6 (see attached screenshot). As I am really enjoying the Event it would be great if you could fix this issue so I do not miss out of "The Big One" in the end because I couldn't complete week 2. I am playing the game via the EA App on PC.
