Infinite black screen while completing/starting challenges

This bug has only started happening to me after the S3 launch update.  The screen turns black with no UI elements and all of my inputs are unresponsive. I have to Alt+F4 and launch the game. This has happened to me on the first challenge of the session, and it's also happened to me after a dozen challenges that were completed with no issue
