Thank you for reporting this situation with other players being invisible in-game.
Some of you were able to resolve the issue by fast-travelling to a different location. Please try this simple workaround and let us know how it goes. We really appreciate seeing you guys helping each other like this!
The connection might also be involved; some players reported that they use VPN services to play, which we advise turning off.
If nothing else seems to help, please also go through the connection troubleshooting steps in this guide, including restarting your modem/router, changing the DNS to Google's, using a different Wi-Fi channel, or using an Ethernet cable.
Well yes, we shall. Bit of a bummer not being able to progress. Been through the help desk 3 times in 24 hours. Bought the founders pack as soon as I was able. Now I can't even play the game. Do I have special offline version? Haha ha.
We will do all we can on our end, but it's a bit poo that the pre-alpha worked better than whatever the current version is. Rabble rabble rabble
My issue is separate from the invisible players bug. I am never placed into a server with other people. If I bring up the social menu and go to the San Van tab it says "Looks like there's no one else in the city right now." every single time I connect. The only way I can connect to a server with other people in it is by joining a friend's party so it teleports me to their server, or by connecting to a VPN first before playing. I can provide traceroutes or pathpings both with and without being connected to the VPN if your support finds that helpful.
