There clearly is an issue. I am from NA and I cannot see anyone while free roaming.
On the map I can see a bunch of people's markers moving around. But they are all invisible in game or something.
I can see people while doing challenges which is odd.
Nah that's a separate issue. The invisible player issue you describe seems much more widespread. This is specifically being always put in a server/lobby on your own. You can't see anyone else on the map and you can't see anyone else in the San Van list in the social menu. I've only come across people from Australia or New Zealand that is being affected by it.
