[MEGATHREAD] Can't place objects with Quick Drop

I'm here looking for an instant workaround too, but so far the only thing I'm aware of is restarting your game or joining a friend to switch servers

I'll post here if I find a workaround that doesn't involve either of those things tho

Same problem, restarting temporarily allowed me to drop them but they ended up disappearing a min later

Quick drop items wont drop and are invisible? 

When Slappy tells you to drop an item they just disappear and it doesn't work. Tried restarting and got the same issue.

Got the same issue.
1- Try to reload the game
2- Then try to place an object
3- If still invisible, then go back to 1-
4- If visible try the challenge mission again


If it stay invisible. Untrack the mission, reload the game, try to place an object and if visible try the mission again.

I've had this issue too. Not during the tutorial but during free roam. In quick drop items don't appear and I can't place any down, the prompt for press 'X' to drop doesn't show on screen.

I don't know if this is what fixed it for me, but when you first open the item dropper and all that text pops up explaining what to do, I just pressed A through all the text/help messages that pop up, then closed out of the item dropper without trying to place an item, then opened the item dropper back up and it let me place the items. Also I tried to place items before starting the challenge so I don't know if that helped. So

• Try placing items before starting the challenge
• When you start the challenge and open the item dropper, just press A through the help messages and close the item dropper, then reopen it and try to place them

Can’t place objects, so “San Van Welcome Tours” game progression is paused due to not being able to complete mission. Still able to do other challenges around map. PS5
