[MEGATHREAD] Can't place objects with Quick Drop

I select the object and when I do the object is no here I can rotate but placing it is impossible 

trying to use assets in slappy challenge doesn't function.. i can moderately use it when I'm not doin slappy challenges.. the only way it works during slappy challenge is quit and starting hoping i get lucky.. i managed to get to the third challenge of slappy.. but that seems impossible.. the second one is doable without using assets thankfully.. but that's only because previous peoples assets.. 

I have the same exact problem. It's that guide mission under that bridge where you learn how to drop items. I can't place items. Also, every few minutes I can see the items other player droped there for like 20-30 seconds... then i can sometimes place an item but after placin all 3 items I cant progress any further... so it's undoable right now for me.

Deactivate crossplay! That fixed it for me. I've done the whole mission now 🤘😋

Try to disable crossplay. That fixed the whole item placing for me.
Before that I always had problemes placing/seeing placed items.
I'm playing on PC.

When trying to complete object quick drop mission the objects will not appear. I can’t move past this mission.

I was able to get a workaround by disabling cross-platform. I believe the issue arises from too many items being present in an area. Just keep restarting until the game doesn't have many items present

So, I've been having problems with this Quest, it started yesterday, this would be the first time I've ever interacted with the quest, but it wouldn't let me place items onto the ground for some reason, the object would be invisible and couldn't be placed, I hopped off the game when I became frustrated. So, today I thought I would retry it once more, and the same issue occurred but eventually, it let me place down the objects, now I'm having the issue where I can't progress in the quest. I've been waiting for 20 mins and nothing
