I decided to log off sitting on the edge of the broken bridge on the map.and when I logged back on, I was beneath the map,just a skateboard floating in the void.

I made it out!! The best way I can describe it is,find your character after opening quick drop, drop some pieces directly below your character, it should let you drop it right on them. Boom you're back. Hope this helps.
