Only showing PC keybinds during gameplay

For some reason, when I touch the keyboard or mouse during gameplay, all the on screen keybinds are shown as the PC keybinds. Usually if I touch my keyboard, then go back to controller, it goes back to showing the controller keybinds. However now if I accidentally touch my keyboard or mouse once during gameplay,  I have to restart the entire game to get it back to showing the controller keybinds. Thanks.
