Thanks so much for reporting the currency issue. We really appreciate your help.
It looks like a few of you have experienced similar problems, though the triggers might vary slightly. For example, one report mentions opening a neighbourhood box and being charged SVB, while receiving an item from the store. Meanwhile, the original post describes an item in the store being advertised for a different currency.To help us investigate thoroughly, could you please confirm the following:
- What item did you try to purchase?
- What did you receive instead?
- What currency were you charged?
Your input is incredibly valuable in helping us get to the bottom of this. Thanks again for your patience and support!

I experienced the currency display issue around 2 weeks ago.
I purchased the "Creature Button Up", and I received the correct item.
However when I inspected the item in the shop, it was listed as costing 500 rip-coin and when purchased I was charged 500 SVB instead.
Also, when this happened my currencies in the top right were completely blank.

This is on PC, was playing through steam. (I did however buy my SVB back in the playtest on the EA app, also PC)
EA_cuervo As explained in my original post and a reply to another, to which i also provided video evidence. 17 days ago I clicked on the creature board, saw it was the orange currency, bought it, and received it. when clicking off it, i was charged purple currency instead of the orange.
While i understand that there are a lot of bugs being reported and it takes time to sift through them all. Bugs concerning real money should be higher priority and shouldn’t take over 2 weeks for a proper reply.
