Whenever rewards are earned or a shop item is purchased, it pulls up another screen for the rip score showing the exact same reward. Along with a broken score number (mine currently showing 88,000/7600, when my true score is 3400/3800)
I’ve seen multiple reports for this over the last 20-30 days, and it seems the update on the 23rd this month did nothing to fix it. It’s getting really annoying to the point where I almost avoid the shop or buying anything entirely
Seems like this is mostly re-occurring for most ea games. Kind of like when a need for speed pop-up or something from another type of game along the lines of racing where you get a double animation and they probably are not even aware of where the actual screen is coming from.
Mostly on launch this started happening as you mostly are experiencing it more than the play-tested requested them even taking out most transactional acquired items out and replacing it with pro skater items.
I'm not as familiar with this instance as most probably are or yourself but managing it would probably be alt-f4 after purchase or (escaping, button wise) and trying to escape the menu as soon a the escape key pulls you from the menu. Not a real solution but it could get you through most of the unimaginable error from the 404 or back end displays.
My Rip score isn't even going up from completing challenges anymore and I'm so close to 11,000. im 400 something away
I thought I was going crazy because I never saw any of the skate. Youtubers complain about it when they complain about the skate. bugs, and I was convinced I was the only person experiencing these issues. My rip score is almost 12.5k, but on the secondary screen that pops up, it will show me that I'm at like 89k score sometimes, or it will be a 32k score. It seems very arbitrary, but it always counts up as I open boxes.
