every time i open the game its set to the lowest resolution. this has been a bug for months now. i saw another post that said this was fixed but it's still happens for me every time.
Are you having the same issue that I have, where when you initially launch the game it tries to run at some tiny resolution in exclusive fullscreen (regardless of what you selected in-game) and it screws up your whole desktop and other open windows? Then after a few seconds it switches to what you actually have set in-game?
The other bug that they apparently fixed only affected people once they hit "Start" on the menu. The bug I've been experiencing since launch affects me the second I boot up the game through Steam.
I've tried deleting my config, using windowed, borderless, exclusive fullscreen, nothing works. It's actually gotten worse in the last month or so, ever since they apparently fixed that other bug. I used to occasionally be able to avoid this issue by tabbing out as it launched and keeping a different window/monitor active, very rarely that would somehow avoid it but not always. Now I can't do that at all, every single time I launch it forcefully tries going into exclusive fullscreen at a small resolution.
no actually, sucks to hear theres multiple different forms of this bug.
my game launches in my set resolution but for some reason as soon as i press any button in the game, AFTER pressing A to start for some reason, it suddenly goes the lowest res setting possible. going to the settings and swapping the monitor the game is on then canceling it resets the resolution and seems to be the fastest way to fix it, but its annoying to have to do every time i open the game
