Session Marker Replaced

Whenever I fail a trick I'm quick to return to my marker, now bc I'm using an after market controller the D-Pad isn't the best. Often it'll open the social interaction screen.  When this happens, it instantly places a marker wherever I am. No wait time just instantaneous marker. This gets annoying fast when I'm trying to land a specific sequence. There's 2 ways I can think of to fix this, solve the bug or give us the ability to customize our controller layout. The 2nd one would be great in general but thats besides the point. Please look into this, it's really annoying and inconvenient.
