Settings not always saving

I've set the on-board camera height to high three times now, the first time it stayed until I completed a challenge session, then reset back to low. The second time I changed it after the challenge session it stayed until now, when I booted up the game again, and it again has changed to low. I also chose normal stance when creating my character, which promptly changed itself back to goofy as soon as I started playing, though since being changed back to normal after the tutorial has stayed as normal.
