#1 skate. player here. 3000 hours + thousands of dollars spent and here is my opinion: removing the speed glitch was the worst thing you could've done for the game overall. It was essential to the "flow" of the game and now it feels very stale I'm not gonna lie. While the physics still feel fluid and amazing.... I still highly recommend you put the speed glitch back into the game because i don't think a *decent* portion of skate players deserve to be screwed over mainly because our kind make the game look and feel way cooler. #tricklinerslivesmatter

Self proclaimed #1 skate. player has to point glitch to catch up to me in a block party -- still loses. Crazy.
Anyway, back to the topic.
I agree the removal of revert speed boost was unnecessary, especially compared to some of the egregious point glitches that still plague the game and have been left untouched since season 2, all while releasing more PvP modes and a leaderboard.
Revert speed boost complimented both stylish and competitive play.
In a way it's like removing wavedashing out of a fighting game.
It is what it is. It's gone now and I don't see them "revert" (get it?) this patch. Full Circle team definitely needs to get their priority straight on what to fix, though.
Peace.

after a trick u put land in manual while ur left stick is in in same position ur manual is in for example if i land in too right manual my left stick is left the while time but to stop the speed u were getting u literally jus had to turn off auto revert setting they literally added that setting right before the patch which is why im confused on why they completely took it out it was literally a setting for realistic players to turn it off or keep it on they secretly added that setting it wasnt in any patch notes or anything i believe

Ok please do me a favor and explain exactly how you initiate the revert speed glitch you are referring to because I'm starting to think we might be talking about two different revert bugs. I swear I'm not making things up or exaggerating anything in an attempt to prove a point.

before and after patch u never was able to trickline and gain points without bailing the hippie to spread eagle was the only glitch points and that is not considered tricklining what so ever

Where are you getting this info from? discord or what? You're really sitting here claiming a "huge portion" of the realistic community were actually bothered with the revert speed glitch when 1. its not a glitch that happens by accident often and 2. didn't "break the game" whatsoever. Yes I did say even non trick liners hit the speed glitch by accident but its rare because you need to revert at a specific time and sometimes even at a specific angle.. and ur telling me the realistic skaters are hitting the revert speed glitch by accident so much to the point where it was a genuine concern? sorry buddy, not buying it. i wanna emphasize the amount of hours i've played and not for bragging rights, but to show i truly understand how the game works and that i've played through all the patches that attempted to nerf trick liners in one way or another. Us trickliners really only have 2 "glitches" in our arsenal that allows us to do what we do and that's the pop glitch and speed glitch. they took away the OG pop glitch which i think was better and honestly more "fair" then the current pop glitches we have. Like ok fine, people complaining about pop glitches to the point the devs take action? Sure i can definitely see that but you're not gonna sit here and convince me that the revert speed glitch was something that desperately needed fixing. im even convinced that like 90% of the people that currently play skate didn't even know how to speed glitch purposely. So your claim that it was a huge talking point within the realistic community just sounds like cap if im being completely honest. Like dude, im talking about tech that mainly trickliners and verters do and you're saying the realistic community are over the moon about the *super niche* revert speed glitch nerf? Please stop larping, It's not good for the longevity of skate. Skates gameplay up until a few weeks ago catered to both trick liners and realistic skaters and absolutely nobody was making a huge deal about the revert speed glitch, and like i said, *way* more than half the people who play don't even know how to do the glitch or realize when they hit the glitch accidentally and im confident in saying that. There must've been a very loud minority of players that got EA to patch it out because im telling you NOBODY was crying about tech that only a small handful of people were actually doing consistently, So that's just cap, sorry.

Just because nobody complained about it to you doesn't mean a huge portion of the community the realistic community that I am and have been a part of for a long time didn't get absolutely annoyed and frustrated by it on a daily basis. Here's the thing, at the end of the day it was a bug that was not intended by the developers and effected EVERYONE whether they liked it or not so them removing it should not have surprised you. And whether you believe it or not many players did complain about it to the developers. I've said this before but again I don't care how other players play as long as it doesn't effect the rest of us and that bug 100% effected everyone and many of us are **bleep** happy it was fixed.

Your opinion absolutely matters! While we as players may disagree on some things, it's important to have the discussion for the betterment of all.
Each player's opinion is important. It's a wonderful access point for the devs to feel out where issues reside and can come to a conclusion based on player feedback. It's less about winning or losing and more about that conversational aspect.

like i said, i've played every day since launch. thousands of hours. talking and playing with hundreds of people and i can confidently say that ABSOLUTELY nobody complained about the revert speed glitch. Thats the only reason i'm on the forums now tbh because the decision to remove that specific speed glitch seems out of the blue and unwarranted
