SKATE. Crashing entire PC on Launch
Devs, I have an AMD CPU (9800X3D) and an NVIDIA 5080, 64gb RAM, 2TB SSD. If I want to play SKATE. I must launch the game and then quickly open up a different program so it's in the foreground while SKATE. loads up in the background. If I mess this up and forget to open the secondary program sometimes the game just crashes and gives me a DirectX Error talking about how there was an improper command that tried to destroy my GPU or my GPU was physically removed from the system (It was not.) I wanted to make this clear here because I can see a PC Newbie trying SKATE, it crashing his entire computer and him being afraid to ever try to launch SKATE. ever again. It was scary the first few times because I thought I was locked out of the game. It first happend on Steam so I switched to EA App and thought I fixed it for good because the problem stopped for a long time. Right around Season 3 is when I started having issues launching the game again this 2nd time around. I have turned off XMP because someone online said something about a memory leak if you have XMP turned on. I also notice the game SKATE. doesn't automatically show up in the NVIDIA app and I had to manually add it, once I did it doesn't have any of the normal driver settings for the game like other games do, it's almost like it doesn't recognize it as a full game and isn't sure if the NVIDIA Control Panel settings will adhere to the game SKATE. Wondering if we could figure this one out because I would hate to see a future Pro San Van Skater just give up because of this. :) Love, boneyardx0 (#hippyjumpparkour, #griptapemafia)Error 852146987
I’ve never had an issue until Season 4. I play on PS5 and have a Starlink Router. I’ve tried everything from DNS settings, unlinking EA account, using mobile hotspot, and ethernet connection. Nothing has worked; actually mobile hotspot worked briefly but the connection isn’t strong enough to play online. This seriously blows lol, just need a workaround.
Can't enter stadium PS4
I have purchased the season pass and have entered the stadium maybe 2 times and ever since then when I try go in my game gets stuck on a loading screen, I left it for an hour and still nothing. Don't know what I can do to fix this I've tried restarting the game and my ps4, checking my connection and nothing has worked. Hey Devs, BoneyardX0 again. It's raining here so I can't skateboard, but I've been meaning to report a few bugs so now's a good time. I have been using Hippy Jumps in ways you wouldn't imagine. I use hippy jumps not just to clear obstacles and let my board go under em'. I use the hippy jump to wall run and return to the board down a slope, I also use the hippy jump to do a baseball slide down a ledge and get back on, I ALSO use the hippy jump to tuck and roll off board then hop back on. I'm quite literally changing the Hippy Jump game single handedly. I'm the first person to use the TikTok Hashtag "#HippyJumpParkour" Season 4 Update has completely removed my ability to do a hippy jump, then do a super-fast "KICK" (B button) to stop my character in the air right where I originally hippy jump to send the board rolling forwards on its own. I have become creative with this and have sent my board alone off staircases landing on rails and jumping to meet the board and grinding the rail. You can even just send your board straight up a ramp by hippy jumping and pressing B super fast and it would shoot your board forward while you stay in the spot you jumped from, and your board would go up the ramp alone and come back down where you could meet up with it again. Separate Idea: If you bring back the hippy jump fast-kick board launch I'll also need you to crank up the bounce on the collision of the lone-skateboard. It would be a lot more fun and interesting if the board had some more bounce and play to it so you could ricochet it off of stuff like walls, poles, ledges, etc. This would only be interesting or helpful once we get the Hippy Jump, fast kick, board launch tech back. Because I'm imagining a SKATE. where you can hippy jump during Pop Shuvits, Manuals, etc and send the board forwards alone and it'll bounce off a corner, hit the other corner, and turn 90 degrees away. What got me thinking of this is this cool parlor trick I do with a No-Comply and a Late Front-foot Impossible. The late impossible doesn't complete but if you do it JUST RIGHT your board will collide with the ground while spinning/rotating and this causes the skateboard to go FLYING over your shoulder or twisting on 1 end fast, bouncing forwards. Yes I've landed a No-Comply, Late front foot Impossible board pop, bounced it to a rail, landed on the board and grinded it. This is some 400+ Hour tech I'm talm' bout here but tbh I was crushed when I hippy jumped, pressed B and kept rolling with the skateboard. :(Game refuses to OPEN unless I have another tab in the foreground.
Hey devs, Skater boi Boneyardx0 here with a bug I've been dealing with for quite some time now. I'm on PC. I have a AMD CPU and an NVIDIA GPU. (9800X3D CPU w/ a 5080 in it.) If I forget to open a browser tab or something to focus my PC elsewhere while the game loads in the background, the game just won't launch. It'll try but then it'll just stop and give me an error that says: "An improper command to the GPU has caused a problem" something about my GPU being destroyed or physically not in slot? Even though it is. The funny thing is the game runs fine and perfect once I load it up in the background. I never crash or ever have any game breaking issues. I just worry there are PC N00Bs out there who will attempt to play SKATE. and have this weird bug happen to them and them think their PC is trash or busted or the game is busted. If you or anyone you know is struggling to get into the game passed the Splash screen, please refer them here so they can try and get into the game officially."Here today we mourn..."
Should have just left the game alone. Its even more broken then it was before.. sadly. Party leader doesn't work correctly, no members appear in challenges etc. Crashes constantly etc etc. Why EA? Why... The Skate community, the real skate community is loyal to you up till now even through all the betrayal. You just spit in our faces yet again. #GoWokeGoBroke
