So apparently this is an issue with Nvidia drivers.
I'm on RTX 4070 and was able to fix this issue by rolling back to Nvidia display driver version 581.80
Hope this helps anyone else having the issue.
Thanks, that fixed it for me too. RTX 4080, had just updated to the latest drivers a couple days ago (591.59), stickers disappeared in game, from my board and from everyone's board, including other players. Rolled back to 581.80, can see stickers again. Good clue for the devs.
