Occurred while trying to find a way to fix the invisible players bug and so disabled cross-play which took me back to menus upon which I discovered I couldn't log back without sitting in the menus configuration....
Yes it is totally true that it could be due to the reconnect rather than because of the cross-play setting itself however nobody is actively trying to spread misinformation to mislead the devs. We all want to play and so we all are trying to report our findings as accurately as possible to provide as much information as possible so that they can diagnose the issue and find a solution promptly.
