Found a fix for it that worked after everything I have tried. Go to this folder, C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\EA\AC . Open the anticheat installer or reapair exe I forgot the name. Then uninstall when it gives u the option, then repair it. Opened the game up and boom was back in.
I had a similar experience. %appdata% will get you to the folder that EA\AC is in.
