They have fixed the trick of the day
it got fixed
Was able to complete that Trick of the day by doing it on top of the bus
Hey I was having this problem as well but I just randomly got it to work, I did a spread eagle into caveman then after I landed the caveman I did normal 360 and it made progress

I figured it out, if you spread eagle and land in caveman then do any trick after it should count towards progress
