Waiting for other players bug -Playing solo

I’ve encountered several times when starting a challenge that my character gets stuck in place and I can’t do anything. Can’t access the menus or move and none of the inputs work. A text pops up and says «waiting for other players», even though I’m playing solo.
This is annoying as it takes a little while before I regain control again. I would say after 30 seconds to 1 minute it gets stuck like this.
