Baylan appears to be instantly defeated in grand arena despite having lead GAC omicron which specifically prohibits instant defeat. This occurs when someone attacks with the sidious datacron.

EA QV TeamThis looks intended. Based on "It's All Inevitable", Mercenary allies can't be instantly defeated. It doesn't apply to Baylan Skoll.
Baylan IS a mercenary......
He is immune to CATs instant defeat, nihilus, jabba, etc.
Shin and Marrok were also instantly defeated, FYI.
I think the keyword there was allies. Baylan protects his teammates, but not himself.
If that were true based on CG precedent it would say "other allies" or "all other allies". If it doesn't specify other, then it must include all. As I said above Baylan is immune to other instant defeat including CAT, nihilus, jabba, etc.
Yeah, the descriptions are all inconsistent with the wording. Madness lol.
