Completing Mask of Fear produced zero outcome.

I’ve just completed the Mask of Fear by throwing crystals at Major Partagaz and collected these two points it gives and…. nothing has changed whatsoever. I’ve restarted the game, and still no change. No additional era progression, or episode quest progression, nothing at all. Looks like a bug! Thanks.
