I just updated my game and when I went into my current household and went to CAS so I could see the new base game updates it wouldn't load. It was stuck on the plumbob loading screen no matter what I tried. I repaired the game which I've never had to do after an update and I updated the mods I had that could be updated so far. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've deleted both UI cheats & More Columns in CAS, but I'm still stuck at the loading screen. When I remove all of my mods though, the game works fine. Any clue what other mod might be causing my CAS to now show up?
same here, i tried using cas with and without mods and could only close the loading screen with task manager. ironic that cas is unusable in an arguably cas centered update
I have the same issue and based on the forum (and me turning off my mods) I can tell it is a mod issue. Does anyone have a list of mods I need to remove/update to fix my game?
this list definitely isn't a comprehensive one by any means, but what i've gathered across various forums is that these following mods are broken:
any UI related mods, though this type breaks with /every/ update
any trait related mods (!!)
CAS multi-column mod
custom preferences mods, like unlimited likes/dislikes
UI cheats extension is causing issues, i believe (!!)

I was so excited to play after the update. I even pre-ordered the new pack and it's just so annoying I can't play with my mods.

*Master Post for all the things I saw other people say + the things I had that no one mentioned, I tested after each one, so they all need to be updated or deleted:
UI Cheats, More Columns, Colored UI (I had Pink UI but any by Dskecht are apparently broken), thepancake1's UI Color Slider mod
Sorry if this is confusing but I also removed (without checking in-between; so no idea if they were problematic, just guessing cuz I am respectively getting very angry)
all thepancake1's Color Slider Expansion Pack addons, my cas background, HQ Mod Switch, ALL MY SLIDERS (GRRR) -tested here, none were it but that doesn't mean they weren't it, if you understand.- Stand Still Mod, cas lighting mods, remove-ea-eyelashes mod, cas blob remover, cas skin detail organization mod
Big sad none of those were it but I seriously do not have enough patience for this tonight. I will try to remember to update if I figure it out, as well as which of any of these mods are actually problematic.
JK I FIGURED IT OUT I removed "2" more mods omg (2 more tries)
thepancake1 more traits in cas mod, and all my individual trait mods that add traits or whatever
thank you SO MUCH. i removed the more traits mod, updated the more columns mod and now my cas works!!
I readded a few with no issues so far - cas background, cas skin detail organizer, and more columns (THE UPDATED ONE) - seriously these are the essentials.

I was having this problem too until I removed more columns from my mods and now it works. Try removing UI cheats extension too if you have it as well.
Was dealing with the same problem, got CAS to open but the name plate is not changing and now the whole household has the same name.
