Sims won't interact with objects or each other
All Sims in my game, played or unplayed/other households, will not interact with objects or each other. Things appear in the action queue but the Sims just stand there, start dancing (no music is playing), or even do the animation but not directly near the object??? Like, I see Sims doing the animation of rifling through the thrift store racks and the clothes on the rack move, but they're standing outside the building, not in front of the rack. If my Sim is sitting on the couch and I click 'sleep' on a bed, it shows my Sim as asleep in the lower left corner but they're actually still just sitting there on the couch. Vendors and mixologists also spawn for food stalls and bars but they spawn far away them and just stand there; ordering food or drinks does nothing. This is still happening after resetting Sims, disabling mods/CC, repairing the game, restarting the game and my computer... The only thing I've found to work is swimming in pools and watching TV. Otherwise, Live mode is pretty much unplayable. CAS and Build/Buy work just fine. I only started experiencing this after the 7/23/2024 update (PC: 1.108.289.1030), though I can't say for sure it is the issue. I'm also not sure if these are all separate bugs or part of one big problem but either way I can't play the game normally :(
[LS] LE/Reset when trying to do romantic interactions
Play on PC. I purchased Lovestruck and the game updated. I haven’t played since before the update. When I played today, the woohoo and try for baby interaction is there on the sims and bed, but when you click on it the sims glitch and nothing happens. Unable to try for baby. Very disappointed that I can’t play anymore because of it. How am I supposed to continue my legacy family without being able to try for baby? Please fix this bug. [LS] Romance Consultant Career has no overmax
While I now get bills since I've moved households, I'm still having trouble travelling but a new problem has arrived My current two sims are maxed out in their career but haven't earned any bonuses they usually would when having excellent performance and gaining the yellow tick. [LS] Sim from Cupid's Corner Gallery won't change after CAS edit
I cannot find another person who is reporting this issue.. just hoping I’m not alone! My sim opened and used Cupids Corner and found a compatible sim made by a community player. She invited him over and she really liked him. I decided to cheat cas.fulleditmode change his appearance. Now when I load him he reverts back to his appearance before. He will eventually go back to the way I made him in cas for for the first two minute he loads into a location he looks like he used to.. and he has a female voice… Is anyone also experiencing this? Can't switch between Sims
Since today's update (july 23rd 2024), my game has frozen three separate times. It starts with not being able to switch to other household members, after that I can't have my selected sim do any activities. At that point I'll usually save and then go to manage worlds to see if that fixes it, but instead of going to manage worlds, my game just loads forever until I force quit. I don't have any mods (I play vanilla), no CC, I restarted my PC after the first two times it happened, but then it happened again. When i play after 2 minutes my sims freeze along with the time in game. i can no longer play at all. The NPC sims around my lot still move and so does the sun / shadows (time is moving outside my lot). I've tried repairing and nothing has worked. - this only started happening since the most recent update.
Jealous trait: Getting upset when partner interacts with their children
My sim has 2 daughters and a husband. but everytime her husband interacts with the toddlers she get jealous and appear the fear of being cheated. She has the Jealous trait, but it's weird she is jealous of their own kids. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
the game won't load
i tried many times to repair the game and stuff but ever since the newest update I've been having problems making a new game and loading old games. i have deleted it and downloaded it several times but nothing has worked and at this point it just makes me upset that i can't play the sims all the time now cause of it and also everytime i tried to leave the app after it won't load i have to restart my computer. and i deleted all of my CC and then dowloaded them all again thinking they were the problem but it still didn't load
