I just updated my game and when I went into my current household and went to CAS so I could see the new base game updates it wouldn't load. It was stuck on the plumbob loading screen no matter what I tried. I repaired the game which I've never had to do after an update and I updated the mods I had that could be updated so far. Has anyone else had this issue?

bruh, i been looking forward to playing the sims 4 all day at work just to go home and have it do the same thing as u. im happy im not the only one but how long till its fixed cus i wanna play

also u can right click on windows button, go on task manager, right click on the one that says the sims 4 and select end task

I disable my mods and it came up fine. now I get to play the 50/50 game.
I didn't even have plumbob, just a black screen with sinology panel stuck
i also dont have ui cheats so thats not the problem

i had the same problem, but i don't have the more columns or ui cheats mods. i ended up taking out 4 of my mods and my cas loaded. if you have mccc, slice of life, wonderful whims or the no ea eyelashes mods it could be one of those because mine is fixed now.
atleast it’s good to see that others are having this problem because i’ve been stressing since last night.. when i get rid of my mods it works? but i wanna be able to use my mods.
