Just came here to say, for the unfortunate 5th day in a row, that CAS is still causing my entire game to crash and I still have to force-exit through task manager (I describe the full issue in my previous post). Atp just give me my money back if I’m not allowed to play the game I paid money for. They’re not even addressing the CAS issue at all either, just the other bugs which they’ve already updated more than once. At least say you’re going to investigate this issue that hundreds of other people are experiencing instead of just ignoring it…

I talked to their help chat yesterday about CAS and sims being mean suddenly, and they say it's not supposed to happen (no **bleep**), and it's not a known issue?! They would report it as a bug, and look into it, which probably means we'll get it fixed within four months or something like that. They really are scrambling, because NO WAY it's not a known issue when 100+ people have made posts in forums like this??
Yeah if they’re gonna have that attitude then I just want my money back. No way I’m paying for something I can’t use and won’t be able to use for another 4 months lol

CAS is broken due to **bleep** mod I had. Even if it's playable, but doing switches to CAS doesn't work.
I have tried everything, and CAS for me is also still broken. So agitating.
SO, I just had this issue. I deleted my cache in mods folder, deleted a columns mod for CAS and I also turned script mods off.
CAS now works for me, that's including TESTINGCHEATS ON and CAS.FULLEDITMODE.
Looking at new comments, I believe the mods creator for the columns mod has now upgraded the mod and the new version should work with the recent update!

It is really a deep shame that CAS does not work anyway (with or without mods - I tried). That is not an irrelevant, stupid, bug...we can't wait any longer. That is really deceiving...to add eyelashes is all the function broken down?
When I redownloaded the 4 column mod CAS worked after for me.
Hello! I would like to try to help! I was having this issue on 7/23 and managed to solve the problem...I have 2 questions, 1. What system are you playing the sims on and 2. do you have any mods installed?
also, is it an infinite loading screen that you are experiencing when loading into CAS?
when i try to load a game, its an infinite loading screen, but when i try to enter cas/make a new houshold, it is that infinite white screen,
I had the same issue with the white screen, whichever columns mod you’re using needs an update, fixed it for me!
To me, yes it's an infinite loading screen 😭😭 have you been able to fix it? I use quite some mods, like UI cheats, MCC, **bleep** etc.
Hello! I am a little late to this so I apologize, But my suggestion is to move all of your script mods ( any mods that change the gameplay mechanics ) To a separate folder outside of your electronic arts folder and load the game and see if you can go into CAS and if you can, slowly move each mod one by one back into your mods folder until you find the one that is the problem, this worked for me. Specifically, I had the "multiple columns" mod that was out of date and when I removed that one it started working for me. I hope this helps or that you can find the solution!

So I don’t know which specific thing helped with this issue, but I got rid of the fresh start mod for cas, more traits, and the remove accessories mod as well. And then I also unchecked the script mod option in the menu, clicked it again and now so far cas is back working.
Same problem here, i took off wicked whim mod and CAS back to normal.
