Tenant events are no longer resolved as a failure after the Property Owner fixes what’s needed on the Tenant’s lot.
Fixed in Patch 1.118.242/2.20

Does this change mean that it's actually going to be fixed?

Just adding my plea in hopes y'all are really monitoring these. I play on xbox series x and this is seriously killing a lot of my rental game plays. I went to smash some bugs and I smashed 1 out of 5 and it immediately said it was over and I failed to complete it even though I was in the process of it? :( not to mention I had a save that fell victim to the forever cursed book so spontaneous combustion took place even though the book was supposedly taken care of..

Same as everyone else here, every time I resolve a tenant issue, it still gets marked as failed and lowers the unit rating, no matter what I do or how much time is left on the clock. It’d be nice if this actually worked, especially considering we’re several packs past the release of For Rent and it’s still this broken.

I had another issue that may be related. One of my sims (who is also the landlord of the 2-unit residential rental) was participating in a tenant revolt - by herself. I was actually playing with the landlord and I couldn't cancel the interaction. When I tried, it just kept queueing up again. I wasn't able to resolve it with the other household Sim. I would click on the revolting landlord and there was no option to address it.

This is a good point! The cursed book showed up in my unit and it actually worked. Every time I traveled to the other unit to complete the event, I got the message that my unit rating went down.

just downloaded For Rent recently. Made a really nice apartment with 6 units. Filled all vacancies and before I even did that I had a 4 star rating only thing I needed to work on was the maintenance (but I’m assuming it only said poor because it was brand new).
Since I downloaded it, I’ve had two instances where I had to close the application without saving because of some bug. My tenant will report an issue and I’ll literally go fix the issue but the objective won’t clear on the screen and it keeps ruining my rating. Idk what to do - chryssalia4 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
My Sims will resolve a tenant issue only to be told that it went unresolved and the issue resulted in a downgrade of the unit's rating. I'm including a screenshot of the blight issue being resolved but still receiving a notification that it was not addressed.
