I am too having this problem! I tried everything, reinstalled the game, repaired game, no mods that collide from what I know. I hope they solve it because now i can't go to the perfect dating place with my sims 😔
If you go into manage world and click on a random household to load into and then go into manage world again and reload your original sim and it should load you into whatever building you travel to, it may take a few times and make sure to save before traveling the first time
