I decided to play Sims 4 when I saw there was an update, and now I can't even play the game. ;-; I can't see their needs, and I can't make a new sim as I can't choose their traits, etc. I've updated all my mods and have no broken cc, so I'm assuming it's an EA thing.

If you using ui cheats that is why.
jallabeeeeThe game update was only released today and had some major changes in the code; you'll need to give modders some time to fix broken mods. Please test with mods removed and see if you still have issues.
