Today after updating to Patch v1.108.318, I am unable to resume knitted projects. I can start one but can't resume the project my sim has already started.
I am running a clean, new save without any mods on a PC.

This game is supposed to be escapism and yet here I am unable to finish any project and have 10 unfinished projects
Sims can now successfully "Resume" or "Frog" their Knitting Projects. The actions will queue properly, ensuring your knitting plans are back on track.
Fixed in Patch 1.113.277/2.08
